Then, fly to Luxor for some sightseeing, before boarding a multiday cruise along the Nile, with stops in Edfu and Aswan. Then, fly back to Cairo and take a day trip to Alexandria to discover the catacombs, citadel and library.

Day 1: Thursday 12 May Cairo
Meet our travel representative at Dreamland bldg 782 apt 212 . Then, head to your hotel for check-in.

Day 2: Friday 13 May Day trip to the Pyramids, Sphinx, and Sakkara
After breakfast, visit the world-renowned pyramids (Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure), which are located in the necropolis of Giza. The pyramids and the Sphinx are considered one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
Following the tour of the pyramids and the Sphinx, head to the necropolis of Saqqara to visit King Zoser, the Mastaba, and the Pyramid of Teti.
After the tour, transfer back to the hotel. Enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Day 3: Saturday 14 May Fly to Luxor and board cruise
After breakfast, travel to Cairo Airport and fly to Luxor. Upon arrival, meet your guide and travel to the Eastern Bank to visit the Temple of Karnak followed by the Luxor Temple. Then, board your cruise, spend the night in Luxor, and enjoy the evening on your own.

Day 4: Sunday 15 May Luxor West Bank tour
After breakfast, start your tour by visiting the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, and Colossi of Memnon.
Then, back to your cruise. sail to Edfu, Enjoy lunch and tea time from the sun deck and pass Esna Lock. Attend dinner and the Galabiya party onboard the cruise, with an overnight in Edfu.

Day 5: Monday 16 May Cruise - Edfu, Kom-Ombo, and Aswan
After breakfast, disembark and travel by carriage to the Temple of Horus. Discover one of the most beautiful temples of the Ptolemaic era, which has experienced exceptional preservation. Enjoy the overview of Edfu, and then return to the cruise.
Next, sail to Kom-Ombo and have lunch. Then, visit the Temples of the Gods Sobek and Haroeris. Following the tour, return to the cruise and sail to Aswan. Then, attend dinner and a disco party on board, with an overnight in Aswan.

Day 6: Tuesday 17 May Drive to Abu Simble
Early morning, make your way to Abu Simbel temple by private vehicle. Here, there are two, majestic temples. Visit the Temple of Ramses II, the most interesting temple is the sanctuary, where there are four statues—including one of Ramses II—and the Temple of Nefertari. Then, make your way back to Aswan. Explore the area on your own and stay overnight.

Day 7: Wednesday 18 May Aswan - Fly back to Cairo
Today's land attraction is more modern, as you'll visit the Aswan High Dam, one of the largest in the world. Then go back to the past with a trip to the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and seated on an island within the reservoir of the Aswan Low Dam. Later, transfer to Aswan Airport to board a flight to Cairo. A travel representative will meet you at the airport.

Day 8: Thursday 19 May Day trip to Alexandria
Early in the morning, start your trip to Alexandria through desert roads by private, air-conditioned van. Begin with the Catacombs of Kom El Shoukafa, an underground world of ornate carvings and paintings, and a mixture of Roman and Egyptian designs.Next, visit the Citadel of Fort Qaitbey, which is located on the original site of the Pharos, Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse. Then, visit the Library of Alexandria, which was reborn in October 2002 to reclaim the mantle of its ancient namesake. The vast complex is a joining of the arts, history, philosophy, and science, as well as a place for open discussion, dialogue, and understanding.
Following the tour, return to Cairo and enjoy the night on your own.

Day 9: Friday 20 May Cairo - Full-day sightseeing tour
Today, start by visiting Egyptian Museum, and spend 2 hours on a guided tour learning the history, including lessons about King Tut and his golden mask.
Then, visit the massive, medieval Salah El-din Citadel and Mohamed Ali Alabaster mosque. Explore this ancient fortress and its domed ceilings, suspended lights, and striking views of Cairo. Continue the exploration by visiting Khan El Khalili old market. After the tour, enjoy your final night in Cairo at your leisure.

Day 10: Saturday 21 May Departure from Cairo
In the morning, enjoy breakfast. Then, check out of your hotel and make your way to the airport in Cairo. Board your flight home with fond memories of your visit to ancient Egypt.
