Day 1: Tuesday, April 01 – Arrival in Cairo – 03:45 Pm

Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where you will be met and assisted by a representative who will escort you to your hotel.

Day 2: Wednesday, April 02 – Pyramids & Saqqara

Discover the iconic Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Enjoy lunch at the Saqqara Palm Club before exploring the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the oldest pyramid in Egypt, along with the private tombs of high officials from the Old Kingdom.

Day 3: Thursday, April 03 – Egyptian Museum & Museum of Islamic Art

Visit the renowned Egyptian Museum, home to thousands of artifacts from ancient Egypt. Continue to Visit the Sultan Hassan and Al-Rifa'i Mosques. Conclude the day with a visit to the Museum of Islamic Art.

Day 4: Friday, April 4 – Mamluk Mosques & Manial Palace

Explore the Mamluk Mosques located along Cairo's oldest street, dating back to the 10th century. Have lunch, followed by a visit to the Manial Palace of Prince Mohammed Ali, the only royal palace open to the public.

Day 5: Saturday, April 5 – Fly to Luxor - Dahabiya Nile Cruise Begins

Embarkation begins in Luxor, where our representative will transfer you to your Dahabiya home. After lunch onboard, you will explore the East Bank of Luxor. The Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and expanded by Ramses II, is a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture, showcasing majestic columns and intricate carvings. Nearby, the Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Egypt, was dedicated to the god Amun and features grand hypostyle halls, towering obelisks, and sacred lakes. Dinner will be served onboard, and the evening will be spent on the West Bank of Luxor.

Day 6: Sunday, April 6 – Luxor West Bank Tour - Sail to Esna

After breakfast, visit the West Bank of Luxor. The Valley of the Kings, the burial ground of pharaohs such as Tutankhamun and Ramses VI, offers a glimpse into ancient Egypt's funerary art and elaborate tomb designs. Next, explore the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning mortuary temple built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, dedicated to Egypt's most powerful female pharaoh. End the morning tour at the Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues of Amenhotep III that have stood as sentinels for millennia. Following lunch onboard, the Dahabiya will begin its journey to Esna, where you can relax and enjoy tea on the sun deck. Dinner will be served as you sail, and the boat will dock overnight beside an island.

Day 7: Monday, April 7 – Sail to Edfu - Visit Edfu Temple

Enjoy breakfast onboard while crossing the Esna Lock, a marvel of modern engineering. As the Dahabiya sails toward Edfu, take in the serene landscapes of the Nile. Upon arrival, visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god. This remarkably well-preserved temple showcases towering pylons, intricate carvings, and vivid inscriptions that depict ancient rituals and myths. Day 8: Tuesday, April 8 – Gebel El Silsila - Kom Ombo - Hor Diab Island

Begin the day with an early visit to Gebel El Silsila, an ancient quarrying site and temple carved into the cliffs of the Nile. This unique location, accessible only to smaller boats like Dahabiyas, offers a rare and intimate glimpse into ancient Egyptian craftsmanship. Following breakfast, the Dahabiya sails to Kom Ombo, where you'll visit the Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. This temple is unique for its symmetrical design and fascinating crocodile mummies displayed in its museum. After lunch onboard, the boat will cross Shekh Fadl Island and arrive at Hor Diab Island. Here, you'll have the opportunity to swim in the Nile's purest and cleanest watersDinner will be served onboard as the boat sails to Aswan, where you'll dock for the night.

Day 9: Wednesday, April 9 – Discover Aswan & Return to Cairo

After breakfast onboard, disembark in Aswan to explore its renowned attractions. Visit the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and known for its beautiful island setting and intricate carvings. Accessible only by boat, this temple is a highlight of Aswan. Conclude your tour at the Aswan High Dam, an engineering marvel that has tamed the annual Nile floods and provided essential irrigation and electricity to Egypt.
