Day 01: Cairo International Airport – Cairo Overnight

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our English-speaking representative, who will assist you with arrival formalities and luggage procedures. From here, you will be transferred in a private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 02: Pyramids of Giza – Memphis – Saqqara

After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your private English-speaking guide and begin your first full day of exploration in Cairo.

Your journey starts at the legendary Pyramids of Giza, where the monumental structures of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure rise from the desert sands. Standing here, it is easy to understand why these monuments are counted among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Nearby, the iconic Great Sphinx, carved from limestone, watches over the plateau with timeless mystery.

In the afternoon, travel to Saqqara, home to the remarkable Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the oldest large stone structure ever built. This revolutionary design marked a turning point in ancient architecture and laid the foundation for pyramid construction throughout Egypt.

Your day continues to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, where you will visit the open-air museum featuring impressive statues and monuments, including the colossal remains of King Ramses II.

Day 03: Grand Egyptian Museum – Citadel – Khan El Khalili

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will meet you to begin another exciting day in Cairo—one that blends ancient heritage with living culture.

Start with the spectacular Grand Egyptian Museum, located near the Giza Pyramids. This world-class museum is the largest archaeological museum on Earth, showcasing over 100,000 artifacts that span more than 5,000 years of history. Highlights include the complete treasures of King Tutankhamun, displayed together for the first time, alongside monumental statues, immersive digital exhibits, and panoramic views of the pyramids from the museum’s striking modern design.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue to Old Cairo to visit the Citadel of Salah El-Din, a formidable fortress that served as Egypt’s seat of power for over 700 years and offers sweeping views over the city.

End the day at Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the Middle East’s most famous markets. Wander through narrow alleys filled with spices, handmade crafts, jewelry, lanterns, and traditional souvenirs, all while soaking in the lively atmosphere of this historic marketplace.

Day 04: Islamic and Coptic Cairo Tour

After breakfast at your hotel, set out on a meaningful journey through Islamic and Coptic Cairo, where layers of faith, architecture, and history come together in one of the most culturally rich areas of the city.

Begin with the Mosque of Ahmed Ibn Tulun, the oldest intact and still-functioning Islamic monument in Cairo. Its vast open courtyard and elegant minaret reflect the classical architectural style of the 9th century.

Continue to the impressive Mosque of Sultan Hassan, a masterpiece of medieval architecture built in 1256 AD as both a mosque and a religious school. Nearby stands the El Refa’i Mosque, connected by a pedestrian street and notable for its grand design and historical importance.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, explore Coptic Cairo, starting with the famous Hanging Church (Church of the Virgin Mary), built above the walls of a Roman fortress and considered one of the oldest Christian churches in Egypt.

Next, visit the Church of St. Sergius (Abu Serga), traditionally believed to stand on one of the resting places of the Holy Family during their journey through Egypt. The tour concludes with a visit to the historic Ben Ezra Synagogue, dating back to the 9th century.
