11 Day Cairo, Dahabiya and Hurghada

Day 1: Welcome to Egypt – Cairo Arrival
Arrive in Cairo and receive a warm welcome from our team at the airport. Enjoy a refreshing welcome drink and settle into your hotel. The evening is free to relax and prepare for your adventure ahead.

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, Saqqara & Memphis
After breakfast, meet your private guide and explore the Pyramids of Giza, including Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, and marvel at the Sphinx. Continue to Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser and visit Memphis, the ancient capital, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and other remarkable relics.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan – Dahabiya Cruise Begins
After breakfast, fly to Aswan, where your adventure along the Nile begins. Visit the magnificent Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and stroll through the lively Aswan Souq, filled with colorful spices, textiles, and local crafts. Later, board your elegant Dahabiya and set sail toward Kom Ombo, home to the unique twin temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. As evening falls, anchor near Bashier Island and enjoy dinner under the stars surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the Nile.

Day 4: Silsila, Bassaw & Egyptian Folklore
Sail toward the hidden gem of Gebel el Silsila, once the site of ancient sandstone quarries and a temple carved into the cliffs. Continue to Bassaw Village, where you’ll step into traditional Egyptian life—meeting local families, learning about their farming practices, and baking sun bread in clay ovens. In the evening, delight in an authentic folkloric show with music and dance, celebrating Egypt’s rich culture.

Day 5: Temple of Horus & Sail to Esna
Begin the day with a visit to the grand Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in all of Egypt, where towering columns and intricate reliefs reveal the myths of Horus and Seth. Afterward, your dahabiya sails onward toward Esna, where you’ll enjoy one of the Nile’s most picturesque settings for your overnight stay.

Day 6: Luxor Treasures – Journey to the Red Sea
Disembark in Esna and travel to Luxor to explore the West Bank’s highlights: the legendary Valley of the Kings, the elegant Temple of Hatshepsut, and the towering Colossi of Memnon. Cross to the East Bank to marvel at the vast Karnak Temple complex, one of the greatest architectural achievements of ancient Egypt.
After disembarking in Luxor, travel by road through the desert to Hurghada on the Red Sea. Check into your beach resort and enjoy a relaxing evening by the pool or along the golden sands—your well-earned paradise awaits.

Day 7: Free Day in Hurghada – Red Sea Bliss
Enjoy a relaxing day at your beach resort in Hurghada. Swim in the turquoise waters, lounge on golden sands, or simply soak up the sun by the pool. For those seeking adventure, optional activities such as snorkeling or a Red Sea boat trip offer the chance to discover vibrant coral reefs and colorful marine life.

Day 8: Hurghada Adventures – Sea or Desert
Today is yours to design. Choose from thrilling optional activities like scuba diving, desert quad biking, or a full-day cruise to the Giftun Islands for world-class snorkeling. Or, if you prefer, unwind with a spa treatment and enjoy the peaceful setting of your resort.

Day 9: Fly Back to Cairo
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Hurghada before your short flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, return to your hotel and savor your evening in Egypt.
Day 10: Egyptian Museum, Citadel & Khan El Khalili
Visit the Egyptian Museum and admire thousands of artifacts, including treasures of King Tutankhamun. Climb to the Citadel of Salah El-Din for panoramic views of Cairo and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali. End the day exploring the vibrant Khan El Khalili Bazaar, perfect for souvenirs, spices, and local crafts.

Day 11: Farewell Egypt
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight. Though your journey ends today, the memories you’ve made—from ancient pyramids to Nile sunsets and Red Sea shores—will stay with you forever.
