Day 1 – Thursday, February 27: Arrival in Luxor | East Bank

Upon arrival at Luxor Airport at approximately 4:20 PM, you will be greeted by a representative from Journey to Egypt at the airport exit, holding a sign with your name. Your exploration begins with a visit to the magnificent Temple of Luxor, where you will admire the grand statues of Ramses II and the Courtyard of Amenhotep III. Followed by Sound & Light Show at Karnak Temple. Afterward, you will check in to Le Fayan Nile cruise and enjoy dinner onboard.

Day 2 – Friday, February 28: Valley of the Kings | Cruising the Nile

This morning, visit the Temple of Karnak on the East Bank, followed by a tour of the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon on the West Bank. You also will visit Tutankhamun's tomb. In the afternoon, the cruise will set sail for Edfu.

Day 3 – Saturday, March 1: Temple of Horus & Kom Ombo

Begin your day with a visit to the well-preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu. Afterward, sail to Kom Ombo to explore the Greco-Roman temple dedicated to Haroeris and Sobek. Continue your journey to Aswan.

Day 4 – Sunday, March 2: Abu Simbel Tour & Felucca Ride

Early morning, make your way to Abu Simbel temple by private vehicle (3 hrs each way by road) And discover Abu Simbel, the commanding twin temples of Ramses II and his wife, Queen Nefertari. The former’s façade is dominated by four 70-foot-tall statues of the pharaoh. Perhaps even more impressive, this entire site was disassembled and moved here to save it from the floodwaters caused by the Aswan High Dam.
In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing felucca ride around Aswan's islands with a refreshing sundowner.

Day 5 – Monday, March 3: Aswan | Flight to Cairo

Today, take a motorboat ride to Philae Temple, located on Agilika Island, dedicated to the goddess Isis.
Continue your tour with a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan's granite quarries.
Following the visit, transfer to Aswan Airport for your domestic flight to Cairo, where you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6 – Tuesday, March 4: Cairo | Egyptian Museum, Pyramids & Sphinx

Begin your Cairo tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including treasures from Tutankhamun’s tomb. Continue to the Giza Plateau, where you will have the opportunity to explore the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx, and the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus. A camel ride through the sands of Giza will complete your experience.
