Day 1: Arrival in Cairo – Welcome to Egypt

Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our English-speaking representative will greet you and assist with all arrival formalities. You will then be comfortably transferred to your hotel in Cairo. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to rest and get ready for your Egyptian adventure.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis & Saqqara Tour

After lunch at a local restaurant, explore Cairo’s Islamic heritage with a visit to the Citadel of Salah El-Din and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, also known as the Alabaster Mosque. End the day wandering through the vibrant Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest and most atmospheric markets in the Middle East.

Day 4: Fly to Luxor – Explore West & East Bank

After breakfast and hotel checkout, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, begin your tour of Luxor’s West Bank, starting with the Valley of the Kings—the final resting place of pharaohs, including King Tutankhamun.

Visit the stunning Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, explore the East Bank, including the majestic Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious site in the world, and the elegant Luxor Temple, once linked to Karnak by the Avenue of Sphinxes.

Day 5: Full-Day Tour to Abydos and Dendera Temples

Continue to Dendera Temple Complex, dedicated to goddess Hathor. Admire the colorful ceiling, the famous Dendera Zodiac, crypts, and a rare image of Cleopatra VII and Caesarion.

Day 6: Luxor West Bank II – Habu Temple, Valley of Queens, Deir el-Medina & Museums

Begin the day with a visit to Medinet Habu, the grand Mortuary Temple of Ramses III known for its towering pylons and preserved reliefs. Next, explore the artisan village of Deir el-Medina, home to the workers who built the royal tombs.

Day 7: Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples – Arrive in Aswan

Continue to Kom Ombo Temple, uniquely dedicated to two gods—Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris (Horus the Elder). Learn about ancient medicine and crocodile mummification. Arrive in Aswan, enjoy lunch, and check into your hotel.

Day 8: Aswan Sightseeing – High Dam, Philae Temple & Unfinished Obelisk

After breakfast, visit the engineering marvel of the Aswan High Dam, which provides irrigation and hydroelectric power across Egypt.

Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk, a massive monument that cracked before completion, providing insight into ancient stone-cutting techniques. Then visit the enchanting Philae Temple, dedicated to goddess Isis, carefully relocated to save it from flooding caused by the dam.

Day 9: Abu Simbel Temples Tour – Fly Back to Cairo

Early breakfast box and checkout, then drive to Abu Simbel, where you’ll visit the iconic twin temples built by Ramses II—one for himself and the other for his queen, Nefertari. These UNESCO-listed temples were relocated in the 1960s to avoid submersion after the construction of the High Dam.

After the tour, transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 10: Alexandria Day Trip from Cairo

After breakfast, embark on a day trip to the coastal city of Alexandria. Begin with a visit to the modern Library of Alexandria, located on the site of the ancient world-famous library.

Explore the Roman Amphitheatre, then visit the towering Pompey’s Pillar, a surviving Roman triumphal column. End your tour with a stop at the Qaitbay Citadel (photo stop), built on the site of the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria. Return to Cairo in the evening.

Day 11: Final Departure from Cairo
