Day 01: Cairo Arrival

Your Egyptian adventure begins as soon as you arrive at Cairo International Airport where Journey To Egypt representative will welcome you warmly and assist you with all airport formalities. You will then enjoy a private air-conditioned transfer to your Cairo hotel. Once you check in, take the rest of the day to relax, refresh, and settle into the vibrant atmosphere of Cairo.

Day 02: Pyramids of Giza and Grand Egyptian Museum – Cairo ON

After breakfast at your hotel, meet your private Egyptologist guide for a journey into the heart of Ancient Egypt. Begin at the Pyramids of Giza where the mighty Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure rise above the desert in timeless grandeur. Stand before the iconic Great Sphinx, carved from a single block of limestone and guarding the entire plateau.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the world-renowned Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest archaeological museum on Earth. Discover more than 100,000 artifacts, including the complete treasures of King Tutankhamun, displayed together for the first time. Explore immersive galleries and admire breathtaking views of the Giza Pyramids from this state-of-the-art complex.

Return to your Cairo hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Fly to Aswan – Aswan Tour – Board Nile Cruise – Sail to Kom Ombo

Enjoy breakfast, check out, and transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, your Egyptologist guide will lead you on a tour of the city beginning with the impressive High Dam, built to protect Egypt from the Nile’s annual floods. Continue by motorboat to Agilkia Island to explore the enchanting Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Walk among the elegant colonnades and beautifully carved reliefs before visiting the Unfinished Obelisk, an immense monument carved from red granite.

After your tour, transfer to your Nile Cruise in time for lunch as the ship begins its scenic voyage toward Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, visit the extraordinary Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris. Return to the ship to enjoy dinner as you sail gently toward Edfu.

Day 04: Edfu Temple – Sail to Luxor – Karnak and Luxor Temples

Start your morning with breakfast on board before taking a memorable horse-drawn carriage ride to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Admire the towering pylons, detailed inscriptions, and impressive statues honoring Horus, the falcon-headed protector.

Return to the ship for lunch and enjoy a tranquil sail to Luxor. In the afternoon, explore the monumental sites of the East Bank beginning with the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious complex ever constructed. Walk through the monumental Hypostyle Hall, famous for its forest of giant columns. Continue to the elegant Luxor Temple, completed by Ramses II, beautifully illuminated at sunset.

Return to your cruise ship for dinner and overnight in Luxor.

Day 05: Luxor West Bank – Transfer to Hurghada

After breakfast, disembark from the cruise and begin your journey across the West Bank of Luxor. Start with the legendary Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs, where brilliantly decorated royal tombs reveal vivid scenes from the Book of the Dead. Continue to the majestic Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of ancient architecture carved directly into the cliffs of Deir El Bahari. Conclude your visits with the imposing Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues that once guarded the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.

After your tours, travel by private air-conditioned vehicle to Hurghada on the Red Sea. Check in at your resort, enjoy the sparkling waters, and relax on the beautiful beaches. Dinner and overnight in Hurghada.

Day 07: Return to Cairo

Day 08: Departure

After enjoying your last breakfast in Egypt, check out from your hotel. One of our tour managers will meet you and escort you to Cairo International Airport where you will receive full assistance with luggage and departure procedures.
