October 27 (Monday) — Flight to Luxor & Nile Cruise Embarkation

In the morning, you will take a short domestic flight to Luxor, the ancient city once known as Thebes, Egypt’s grand capital during the height of the New Kingdom. Upon arrival, your guide will take you to explore the East Bank of the Nile, beginning with Karnak Temple, a vast complex of sanctuaries, pylons, and obelisks dedicated mainly to Amun-Ra. Here you will walk along the Hypostyle Hall, with its forest of towering columns carved with intricate hieroglyphs. You will then visit Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and later expanded by Ramses II, which comes alive in the afternoon light with its majestic statues and soaring columns. After your explorations, you will embark on your Nile Cruise, your floating hotel for the next four nights. Lunch and dinner will be served on board.

October 28 (Tuesday) — Luxor West Bank & Sail to Edfu

This morning, cross to the West Bank of the Nile, the ancient necropolis of Thebes. You will visit the Valley of the Kings, the burial site of Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs, including the tomb of Tutankhamun, where exquisite treasures were discovered in 1922. Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, a stunning mortuary temple built into the cliffs and dedicated to Egypt’s most successful female pharaoh. Pause for photographs at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Amenhotep III that have stood guard for over 3,000 years. Return to your cruise and begin your journey south toward Edfu. Enjoy the scenery of rural Egypt from your sundeck as life along the river unfolds. Evening entertainment will be provided on board.

October 29 (Wednesday) — Temples of Edfu & Kom Ombo

Begin the day in Edfu with a visit to the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon-headed god of the sky and kingship. Afterward, sail to Kom Ombo, home to the unique twin temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god of fertility and the Nile, and Horus the Elder, the god of the sky. Here you will also see mummified crocodiles in the small museum, a reminder of the ancient reverence for these creatures. Return to your ship for a festive Galabeya Night, where guests don traditional Egyptian attire, enjoy local cuisine, and dance to live music.

October 30 (Thursday) — Abu Simbel Tour & Felucca Ride

Early morning, you will enjoy one of the highlights of your journey: a private transfer to Abu Simbel. This UNESCO World Heritage site features the two massive rock temples of Ramses II and his queen Nefertari, carved directly into the mountainside. The colossal statues at the entrance are among the most awe-inspiring in all of Egypt, and the interior halls are filled with intricate carvings that celebrate Ramses’ victories and divine status. Following your visit, return to Aswan and rejoin your cruise. In the afternoon, you will sail by felucca around Elephantine Island and the botanical gardens of Lord Kitchener, soaking in the gentle breeze and serene beauty of the Nile. Lunch and dinner will be served on board, and you will spend your final night on the ship.

October 31 (Friday) — Disembark in Aswan, Aswan Highlights & Fly to Cairo

After breakfast, you will disembark from your cruise and begin exploring Aswan’s treasures, starting with the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, relocated stone by stone to its current location after the construction of the High Dam. In the afternoon, transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo, where you will spend the night.

November 1 (Saturday) — Pyramids, Saqqara & Memphis

Today you will explore the most famous monuments of ancient Egypt, beginning with the Pyramids of Giza, the only remaining Wonder of the Ancient World. Marvel at the sheer size of the Great Pyramid, built for Pharaoh Khufu, and the enigmatic Sphinx, which has stood guard for millennia. Travel to Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest monumental stone building in the world, designed by the legendary architect Imhotep. Continue to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, to view the colossal statue of Ramses II and the alabaster sphinx.

November 2 (Sunday) — Cairo City Tour

Your final full day in Egypt is dedicated to the cultural treasures of Cairo. Begin with the Egyptian Museum, home to a vast collection of ancient artifacts, including the golden mask of Tutankhamun. Continue to Old Cairo, where you can visit the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and historic mosques. End the day at Khan El Khalili Bazaar, a vibrant market filled with spices, jewelry, textiles, and traditional crafts.

November 3 (Monday) — Departure from Cairo

Enjoy a leisurely morning with late check-out before your private transfer to Cairo International Airport for your evening flight at 9:30 PM (Egyptair MS 849). Your journey through Egypt’s timeless wonders comes to a close, leaving you with memories that will last a lifetime.
