09-Day Journey Through Egypt

Day 1 (Friday March 6): Arrival Cairo- Welcome To Egypt

Your representative will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport (Before the immigration counters, holding a sign with your name) and provide you with an entry visa for Egypt and then he will escort you to your hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. Overnight in Cairo. No meal.

Day 2 (Saturday March 7): Fly Cairo To Luxor -The Journey Begins in Luxor – Where Time Stands Still

Your journey begins in the ancient city of Luxor, the world's greatest open-air museum. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed aboard the Merit I or Merit II Dahabiya with a delicious lunch. You'll visit the grand Luxor Temple and the majestic Karnak Temple, two of Egypt's most iconic monuments. These sacred sites, with their towering pillars and intricate carvings, will leave you speechless as you step back in time to the glory of ancient Egypt.

As the sun sets over the Nile, you'll enjoy a gourmet dinner on board while soaking in the views from the West Bank, where you'll spend the night. The river, the temples, the stars—all combine to create a magical atmosphere as you drift off to sleep.

Day 3 (Sunday March 8): A Journey Through the Valley of Kings – Unveiling the Secrets of the Pharaohs

Your adventure continues with a visit to the West Bank, where Egypt's most famous royal tombs are hidden in the Valley of the Kings. Walk in the footsteps of pharaohs as you explore the tombs of ancient rulers, including the legendary Tutankhamun. After marveling at these treasures, visit the awe-inspiring Hatshepsut Temple, dedicated to one of Egypt's most powerful queens.

Later, you'll sail to Esna, where tea time on the sun deck offers the perfect opportunity to unwind. As you continue sailing, dinner will be served, and you'll spend the night moored beside a tranquil island, surrounded by nature's beauty.

Day 4 (Monday March 9): The Sacred Temple of Edfu – Legends of the Gods

Wake up to the soft glow of the morning sun as you sail towards Edfu, home to one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, the Temple of Edfu. Dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, this temple is a masterpiece of ancient architecture and mythology. As you explore its towering columns and intricate hieroglyphs, you'll feel connected to the stories of Egypt's divine past.

In the afternoon, sail to Al Ramady Island, a peaceful oasis on the Nile. Here, you'll enjoy a delightful dinner on board, followed by a peaceful overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 5 (Tuesday March 10): The Majestic Kom Ombo Temple – Witnessing the Power of the Gods

This morning, you'll sail to Gebel El Silsila, a site known for its ancient quarries, before making your way to Kom Ombo Temple, where you'll uncover the mysteries of the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon-headed god Horus. This double temple, set on the banks of the Nile, is one of the most unique in Egypt, offering a glimpse into the duality of Egyptian gods and their roles in everyday life.

Afterward, you'll continue your journey to El Sheikh Fadl Island, where you can unwind with tea and dinner while taking in the serene landscape. As you sail toward Aswan, the tranquil waters of the Nile will cradle you into the night.

Day 6 (Wednesday March 11): The Heart of Aswan – Fly to Cairo

Your final day aboard the Merit Dahabiya begins with an early arrival in Aswan, one of Egypt's most picturesque cities. After breakfast, you'll explore the breathtaking Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and the awe-inspiring High Dam, which changed the course of Egypt's history.

Later, .Our team will provide a comfortable transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to CairoOvernight in Cairo.

Day 7: (Thursday March 12) Day trip to Alexandria

Early in the morning, start your trip to Alexandria through desert roads by private, air-conditioned van. Begin with the Catacombs of Kom El Shoukafa, an underground world of ornate carvings and paintings, and a mixture of Roman and Egyptian designs.Next, visit the Citadel of Fort Qaitbey, which is located on the original site of the Pharos, Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse. Then, visit the Library of Alexandria, which was reborn in October 2002 to reclaim the mantle of its ancient namesake. The vast complex is a joining of the arts, history, philosophy, and science, as well as a place for open discussion, dialogue, and understanding.

Following the tour, return to Cairo and enjoy the night on your own.

Day 8 (Friday March 13): Pyramids & Egyptian Museum 

This morning, join your expert tour guide for an exploration of the Giza Plateau, site of the pyramids of Mycerinus and Chephren as well as the Great Pyramid. Built in the Fourth Dynasty (approximately 2690 BC), it is the only survivor of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. View the Great Sphinx backdropped by the pyramids, a setting that has captured the imaginations of adventurers for centuries. Continue the exploration by visiting the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities to view its huge collection of ancient Egyptian artifact. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 9 (Saturday March 14): Final Departure
