Day 1: Saturday 28 Aug - Arrive Cairo
Arrive in Cairo, 28 Aug at 11:00 Am where you are met by your Journey to Egypt representative (before the immigration counters, holding a sign with your name) and transferred to your hotel in Cairo. No Meal.
Day 2: Sunday 29 Aug Giza pyramids - Luxor
By 10:30 am join your expert tour guide for an exploration of the Giza pyramid complex and the Great Sphinx (Start your tour by the Great Pyramid of Cheops (2551-2528 BC), is built of an estimated 2.5 million blocks, rising to 137m. Then move to Panorama area, enjoy fabulous photos for the three Pyramids, next move to the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple)- Having lunch at local restaurant. Later, transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor and Overnight.| Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.
Day 3: Monday 30 Aug Luxor – Abydos & Dandera Temples
Begin your full day of exploring by visiting the Abydos Temple, (The site was the most important religious center of the ruler of the dead. Because of its association with the afterlife, many Egyptian kings constructed cenotaphs at Abydos, including the great New Kingdom cenotaph temple of Seti l Begun by Seti l and completed by Ramesses ll , This temple was built of fine white limestone and is one of the most impressive religious structures in Egypt) Then continue to Dandara, (the area in which the temple is located, Is that of ancient Tantere, Greek Tentyris, a provincial capital and important religious site during several period of Egyptian history. The temple of Hathor which stands at the site today dates to the Graeco-Roman period, however, and is one of the best-preserved temples of this period in Egypt). Later you will be driven back to Luxor. Visit Luxor temple at night. Next step aboard your Nile cruise. Enjoy Dinner on board. Overnight Luxor. | Meals: Breakfast box, Lunch at Abydos and Dinner.
Day 4: Tuesday 31 Aug Luxor west bank tour – Cruising the Nile
After breakfast on board, Tour of the West Bank will begin with a visit to Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. On the way back to the river Nile, we will pass by the famed Colossi of Memnon. Next visit Karnak Temple. Back on board, sail to Esna, enjoy lunch on board the boat. Afternoon tea will be served on board during the cruise to Esna. In the evening, a gourmet dinner will be served on board. | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 5: Wednesday 01 Sep Edfu Temple & Cruising to Kom Ombo
Sail to Edfu. Enjoy breakfast on board, followed by a visit to the Temple of Edfu. Lunch will be served on board while cruising to Kom Ombo. After lunch, visit the temple of Kom Ombo - dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. The temple stands at a bend in the Nile where, in ancient times, sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the riverbank. Return to your Nile Cruise boat where afternoon tea will be served in the lounge. Tonight’s entertainment will be an “Egyptian Night” costume party for all guests, with a chance to dress up in traditional Egyptian “galabeyyas”. Day 6: Thursday 02 Sep Philae temple & Felucca Sailing
Sail to Aswan. A breakfast buffet will be served on board, after which you will have the morning at your leisure. Enjoy lunch on board, followed by a short motorboat ride to visit the majestic Philae Temple on the Island of Agilika. Next, we proceed to the Granite Quarries, which supplied the ancient Egyptians with most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples, and still hold a huge unfinished obelisk. You will also have a chance take a ride on a felucca (a typical Egyptian sail boat) around Elephantine Island, Lord Kitchener’s Botanical Gardens, and the Agha Khan Mausoleum (weather permitting, life jackets will be provided). Tonight’s farewell dinner will be a gala dinner. Enjoy a Folkloric show and a Dervish show after dinner. | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 7: Friday 03 Sep Abu Simbel Temple- Fly to Cairo then to Sharm El Sheikh
Early morning 04:30 am, an excursion to the Temples of Abu Simbel (3 hrs each way by road) Then, back to Aswan city for flying to Cairo then to Sharm El Sheikh.| Meals: Breakfast box, Lunch, Dinner.

Free day in Sharm or join our optional tour to Ras Mohammed National Park which is both a terrestrial and an aquatic nature reserve. The 480 square kilometre protected area lies where the Gulf of Suez meets the Gulf of Aqaba in Sinai's southern extremity. The arid desert terrain of sand dunes, gravel plains, fossilized corals and granite mountains is home to a number of rare mammal species: Dorcas gazelle, Nubian ibex and red fox. Easier to spot are the resident birds like terns, herons, gulls and ospreys. Thousands of white storks pass through Ras Mohammed each year, heading south during September/October and back north during April/May. About 85 flora species live in the park, including mangroves. This morning, Drive to Saqqarra to visit the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, (the world’s first building in stone, Saqqara, there can be few archaeological sites in all the world, let alone Egypt, to compare with Saqqara)- Next visit Memphis,( Egyptian Mennefer, was the royal residence and capital of Egypt during the early dynastic period and Old Kingdom and a city of major importance throughout the rest of its history, the ruins of the ancient capital of Memphis today lie around the modern village of Mit Rahina). Having lunch at local restaurant, then visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Later you will be driven back to your hotel in Cairo. Overnight Cairo.| Meals: Breakfast and lunch.
