Arrival in Aswan | Philae Temple, High Dam & Scenic Felucca Sail
Upon arrival at Aswan Airport (or your hotel location in Aswan), you will be warmly met by your Journey To Egypt tour guide holding a sign with your name. Begin your day of exploring by visiting the majestic Temple of Philae. Ride a motorized boat to the island of Agilika. This sacred complex was dedicated to the goddess Isis and reflects a fusion of three great civilizations—Egyptian, Greek, and Roman. The temple was dismantled and then painstakingly reassembled when the Aswan High Dam was constructed. Proceed to the engineering marvel of the Aswan High Dam. Afterward, board your Nile cruise vessel for check-in and lunch. Later, ride like a local around the Aswan Islands in a traditional wooden felucca while enjoying a refreshing scenic sundowner as the sun sets over the Nile.

Included Meals: Lunch, Dinner -
Day 2
Abu Simbel Temples Excursion & Kom Ombo Exploration | Cruise to Edfu
Early morning, make your way to Abu Simbel by private vehicle (approx. 3 hours each way by road). Discover the commanding twin temples of Ramses II and his wife, Queen Nefertari, carved directly into the mountainside. The former’s façade is dominated by four 70-foot-tall statues of the pharaoh. Disassembled and relocated to save it from the floodwaters caused by the Aswan High Dam, it stands as one of antiquity's greatest architectural achievements.
Return to Aswan and set sail toward Kom Ombo. Disembark at Kom Ombo ("hill of gold") to visit the unique Greco-Roman dual temple dedicated to Haroeris (the falcon god) and Sobek (the crocodile god). View the mummified remains of several ancient Nile crocodiles on-site. Return onboard to relax as your ship sails smoothly toward Edfu.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner -
Day 3
Temple of Horus | Cruise to Luxor & East Bank Temples
In the morning, view the Temple of Horus, falcon-headed god of the sky. Built in 230 BC by Ptolemy III, this amazingly well-preserved structure reveals what temple worship in ancient Egypt was like. Return to the ship and set sail toward Luxor.
Upon arrival in Luxor, cross over to the East Bank of the Nile to explore Karnak Temple, where generations of pharaohs wished to record their names. Walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall, strolling among its 134 expertly aligned columns soaring up to 80 feet high. Continue to the striking Temple of Luxor. View the three large statues of Ramses II along the front of the temple pylons, the Courtyard of Ramses II, and the Colonnade of Amenhotep III with its 50-foot-high columns.

Your tour begins at the world-famous Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of the pharaohs and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you'll enjoy privileged access to explore underground tombs adorned with vibrant ancient artwork. (Optional: Step inside the legendary Tomb of Tutankhamun with an on-site ticket purchase).
Next, continue to the architecturally stunning Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to ancient Egypt’s first great female pharaoh.
