Day 1 – Begin Your Nile Adventure in Luxor
Step aboard the Concerto Plus Nile Cruise before lunch and receive a warm welcome from the crew. After settling into your cabin and enjoying your first meal on board, it's time to discover the timeless wonders of Luxor's East Bank.
Your afternoon begins at the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious complex ever built in ancient Egypt. Walk through the impressive Avenue of Ram-Headed Sphinxes before passing the monumental First Pylon. Explore the legendary Great Hypostyle Hall, where 134 towering columns are covered with beautifully preserved hieroglyphics, then continue through sacred lakes, towering obelisks, and the vast Precinct of Amun-Re, where more than 1,500 years of ancient history come to life.
Continue to the elegant Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated by the afternoon light. Admire the colossal statues of Ramses II, the historic Abu Haggag Mosque built within the temple walls, and the remaining section of the ancient Avenue of Sphinxes that once connected Luxor Temple with Karnak.
Return to the cruise for afternoon tea, relax on the sun deck, then enjoy dinner on board before spending your first night in Luxor.

Day 2 – The Royal Necropolis & Sailing to Esna
Wake up to breakfast before setting out to explore Luxor's legendary West Bank, where Egypt's greatest pharaohs prepared their eternal resting places.
Your first stop is the Valley of the Kings, hidden among the Theban Mountains. Enter three beautifully decorated royal tombs, where vivid scenes from the afterlife still cover the walls after thousands of years. Guests wishing to explore further may visit the tomb of Tutankhamun or Seti I for an additional fee.
Continue to the breathtaking Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece rising dramatically from the limestone cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Its elegant terraces, impressive colonnades, and detailed reliefs celebrate the achievements of Egypt's most successful female ruler.
Before returning to the cruise, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the two enormous statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, whose mysterious "singing" legend has fascinated travelers for centuries.
Back on board, enjoy lunch as the cruise begins sailing south along the Nile. Watch peaceful riverside villages, palm groves, and fertile farmland drift by before experiencing the fascinating passage through the Esna Lock. Dinner is served on board as the cruise continues toward Edfu.
Optional Hot Air Balloon Experience
For an unforgettable start to the day, guests may choose an optional sunrise hot air balloon ride over Luxor. Floating peacefully above the Valley of the Kings, ancient temples, and the lush Nile Valley offers one of Egypt's most spectacular panoramic views.

Day 3 – Following the Gods from Edfu to Kom Ombo
After breakfast, travel through the streets of Edfu by traditional horse-drawn carriage, just as visitors did generations ago, until reaching one of Egypt's finest preserved temples.The Temple of Horus stands as the best-preserved temple from the Ptolemaic period. Dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god of protection and kingship, its monumental entrance leads to spacious courtyards, beautifully carved reliefs illustrating the legendary battle between Horus and Seth, and the sacred sanctuary where ancient rituals were once performed.
Return to the cruise and enjoy lunch while sailing toward Kom Ombo.
Later in the afternoon, visit the remarkable Temple of Kom Ombo, one of the few perfectly symmetrical temples in Egypt. One side honors Sobek, the crocodile god and protector of the Nile, while the other is dedicated to Horus the Elder, the god of kingship and the sky. Discover fascinating carvings of ancient surgical instruments, medical scenes, and Egypt's early calendar before visiting the Crocodile Mummification Museum, home to remarkably preserved crocodile mummies.
Return to the cruise for dinner as you continue sailing toward Aswan.

Day 4 – Discover the Beauty of Aswan
Begin the day exploring the highlights of Aswan, where ancient monuments blend beautifully with the peaceful scenery of the southern Nile.Your first visit is the impressive High Dam, one of Egypt's greatest modern engineering achievements, offering sweeping views across Lake Nasser while regulating the Nile's annual floodwaters.
Next, take a short motorboat ride to Agilkia Island to visit the enchanting Temple of Philae. Dedicated to Isis, the goddess of love and magic, this elegant sanctuary was carefully relocated stone by stone during UNESCO's famous rescue campaign. Surrounded by the tranquil waters of the Nile, its graceful columns, detailed reliefs, and sacred chambers make it one of Upper Egypt's most beautiful temples.
Continue to the ancient granite quarries, where the enormous Unfinished Obelisk still rests exactly where ancient craftsmen left it, providing remarkable insight into the stone-working techniques of the Pharaohs.
Return to the cruise for lunch and enjoy a relaxing afternoon on board.
Optional Nubian Village Visit
