Day 1 – Welcome to Aswan: Begin Your Journey Along the Nile

The day begins with an optional early morning excursion to the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, available by road or domestic flight (additional cost).

Standing proudly beside Lake Nasser, the colossal temples of Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari are among Egypt's greatest archaeological masterpieces. Carved directly into a sandstone cliff, these extraordinary monuments were carefully relocated during UNESCO's famous rescue campaign following the construction of the High Dam, preserving them for generations to come.
