Day 1: Embarkation in Luxor – Explore the East Bank

In the afternoon, begin your unforgettable journey through ancient Egypt with a guided visit to the spectacular Karnak Temple Complex. Covering more than 100 hectares, Karnak is the largest religious complex ever built in ancient Egypt. Return to the cruise for afternoon tea, followed by dinner on board. Relax as your first evening on the Nile comes to an end with an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 2: Luxor West Bank – Sail through Esna Lock

Enjoy breakfast before discovering Luxor's legendary West Bank, home to the royal necropolis of ancient Thebes.

Your first stop is the world-famous Valley of the Kings, where generations of New Kingdom pharaohs were buried in elaborately decorated rock-cut tombs hidden beneath the Theban Hills. Three royal tombs are included during your visit, while entrance to special tombs such as Tutankhamun or Seti I remains optional.

Continue to the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Built against towering limestone cliffs, this impressive multi-level temple honors Egypt's most successful female ruler and showcases elegant terraces, grand colonnades, and beautifully preserved reliefs illustrating her remarkable reign.

Before returning to the cruise, stop at the impressive Colossi of Memnon. These two massive seated statues of Amenhotep III have watched over the Theban Necropolis for more than three thousand years and remain among Luxor's most recognizable landmarks.

Return to your cruise for lunch before beginning your peaceful sail toward Esna. Experience the fascinating passage through the famous Esna Lock, where your vessel is gently raised or lowered before continuing south. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the sun deck while enjoying beautiful views of traditional villages, lush riverbanks, and daily life along the Nile.

An optional early morning Hot Air Balloon excursion is available for guests wishing to admire Luxor from above at sunrise.

Day 3: Edfu Temple – Kom Ombo Temple

Following breakfast, arrive in Edfu where a traditional horse-drawn carriage takes you through the town to visit one of Egypt's best-preserved temples.

Discover the magnificent Temple of Horus, an extraordinary Ptolemaic monument dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. Enter through its impressive gateway and explore spacious courtyards, beautifully decorated halls, detailed inscriptions illustrating the legendary battle between Horus and Seth, and the sacred sanctuary where ancient religious ceremonies once took place.

Return to the cruise and continue sailing toward Kom Ombo while enjoying lunch onboard and watching the ever-changing landscapes along the Nile.

Later in the afternoon, visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, the only double temple in Egypt. Perfectly symmetrical in design, one side honors Sobek, the crocodile god associated with fertility and the Nile, while the other is dedicated to Horus the Elder. Explore fascinating carvings depicting ancient surgical instruments, calendars, religious ceremonies, and daily life before visiting the nearby Crocodile Museum, home to remarkably preserved crocodile mummies discovered around the temple.

Return to your floating hotel and continue sailing toward Aswan. Dinner is served onboard before another relaxing overnight stay on the Nile.

Day 4: Discover Aswan

After breakfast, begin exploring the highlights of Egypt's southern city.

Your guided tour starts with the impressive High Dam, one of Egypt's greatest modern engineering achievements. Constructed during the twentieth century, the dam controls the annual flooding of the Nile while creating the vast Lake Nasser and supplying electricity across much of the country.

Continue with a short motorboat ride to the enchanting Philae Temple, beautifully situated on Agilkia Island. Dedicated primarily to the goddess Isis, this remarkable sanctuary was carefully relocated by UNESCO after the construction of the High Dam threatened to submerge it beneath the waters of Lake Nasser. Wander among elegant columns, beautifully carved reliefs, sacred chambers, and peaceful courtyards while enjoying the island's tranquil atmosphere.

Your final visit is the remarkable Unfinished Obelisk, still lying within the ancient granite quarry where it was abandoned after developing a crack during construction. This fascinating site offers valuable insight into the remarkable stone-working techniques mastered by the ancient Egyptians.

Return to the cruise for lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing on board or choose the optional excursion to a traditional Nubian Village, where colorful houses, warm hospitality, local culture, and scenic boat rides provide a unique glimpse into southern Egypt's heritage.
