Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at the airport in Cairo, meet up with your travel representative, who will assist you through customs and formalities. Then, you will be escorted to your hotel for check-in. Relax after a long day of travel.
Day 2: Great Pyramids Of Giza & the Egyptian Museum
In the morning, you will meet your Egyptologist who will accompany you on your day exploring the city and its sites. Begin the full day of touring at the famous pyramids in Giza. Start by visiting the pyramid of Cheops, which is the only survivor of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Then, visit the pyramid of Chephren. Beside Chephren is the great Sphinx, which is carved out of natural, rocky outcrop—the body stretches 148 feet, the paws are 50 feet, the head is 33 feet, and the feet are 13 feet wide. Then, stop by Mykerinus, the smallest one of the three pyramids, and partly dressed with pink, granite slabs.
Following the tour in Giza, enjoy lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant nearby. Next, make your way to the Egyptian Museum. The richest museum of Egyptian antiques in the world, it contains Pharaonic treasures dating more than 5,000 years old.
Finish your tour, then head back to the hotel to relax, and enjoy the evening in Cairo at your leisure.

Day 3: Day trip to Wadi Natroun
Early in the morning, start your trip to Wadi Natroun through desert roads by private, air-conditioned van. Begin with Deir Al Baramus (The Monastery of Baramus) which is the oldest of the surviving 4 monasteries, and in many ways the most isolated. Next, visit Deir Anba Bishoy (Anba Bishoy Monastery / Monastery of Saint Pishoy) whose body is still in the monastery. Then, visit Abu Makar Monastery & Deir Al Suryani which is the smallest and most compact of the 4 monasteries.
Following the tour, return to Cairo and enjoy the night on your own.

Day 4: Coptic Cairo & Maadi Churches
Today, begins with a visit to Coptic Cairo to see some of the oldest Christian Churches in Egypt, starting with the Hanging Church and St. Sergius which is believed to have been constructed on the site where the Holy Family resided at the end of their journey into Egypt.
Then, visit the Church of St. George, Abu Seifein and Santa Barbara. Continue to Mostorod to see Virgin Mary Church, visit the Holy well and Holly Marry tree at Matariya on the outskirts of Cairo, a well-attested resting place of the Holy Family and a popular destination among medieval pilgrims. After the tour, enjoy your final night in Cairo at your leisure.

Day 5: Departure from Cairo
Have breakfast and then check out of your hotel in Cairo. Then, transfer to the airport to board your departure flight home.
